Don't Worry, Your Astro Headset Will Still Work On Xbox Series X

Yesterday, we reported that Microsoft has ditched the optical audio port on the Xbox Series X retail model, leading to some confusion about whether certain headsets and certain sound systems will still be compatible. Fortunately, it's now been confirmed that all of Astro Gaming's compatible headsets will continue to work on the new console.

The company announced this on Twitter, indicating that more details on connectivity will be revealed in the future. See what they had to say below:

According to Windows Central, Microsoft and Astro Gaming are "still ironing out the details" on how to get the likes of the Astro A50 and MixAmp to work on Xbox Series X. Regardless, if you have an Astro headset designed for Xbox One, you can rest assured you'll be able to use it on the upcoming system.
