This month's Xbox One firmware update will roll out today to all users. As reported earlier in the month, it will include some pretty large changes to improve functionality, including the ability to purchase backward compatible Xbox 360 games from the Xbox One store.

The full list of changes are as follows:-

Buy Xbox 360 Games on Xbox One

You can now buy backward compatible Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One console from the store.

Xbox Elite Controller Thumbstick Precision

Xbox One Elite Controller owners will now be able to change the sensitivity of the thumbsticks on their controller. A new method of calculating the position of the thumbsticks has been added (you'll need to update your controller's firmware) and this will enable "thumbstick response that is more in line with what you are expecting."

Windows 10 Xbox App Update

On the Windows 10 Xbox app, you'll be able to hit up a page that shows you the status of your controllers. So, the current firmware version and battery status will be indicated for all connected controllers.

Twitch Broadcast Party Chat

You'll now be able to include the entirety of your party's chat when broadcasting via Twitch. If you're broadcasting from the Twitch app, you can enable this feature by checking the "Broadcast party chat" box in the Twitch app's settings. If a member of your party doesn't want to be included, they can decline. All that will happen is that their voice won't be heard on the stream. Party leaders can mute people's chat audio too if they so wish. Also, you can include party members who are using Windows 10 PCs.

So, there's four pretty decent updates to be going on with. The new dashboard is rolling out today.
