Focus Home Interactive will release Rogue Factor's Mordheim: City of the Damned on Xbox One, it has been confirmed.
The game was given an age rating by PEGI last week, after launching on PC at the back end of last year. Mordheim is the first video game adaptation of Games Workshop's tabletop game of the same name, featuring turn-based tactical gameplay where you lead warbands into bloody skirmishes.
It reviewed relatively well on PC and the gameplay trailer below shows the sort of thing that you'll be in for if you take the plunge. Mordheim is intriguing, to say the very least...

This sounds like my kind of game. I am intrigued.
Well, the sub-heading is right... that is a turn-based RPG. I've got to stop immediately jumping to the thought of classical Final Fantasy/Breath of Fire/etcetera when I hear RPG; it just sets me up for disappointment.
I'm not sure if I'd define this more so as a Strategy RPG to be specific, falling more so into the realms of Codename S.T.E.A.M. than Fire Emblem though. In any case, it looks interesting, but SRPG's (or whatever sub category of RPG this does fall into) are not usually my sort of thing. I'm intrigued though, so for now, I'll list it as a maybe.
Gosh I love SRPG's when done right and this looks to have amazing potential!
Unfortunately I really, really dislike anything to do with the occult or demonic themes, so I think I'll have to give this a pass... Shame they couldn't have gone with a more middle-road approach
