Nordic Games and developer Rainbow Studios have announced that they'll be releasing a remaster of their Xbox 360 title MX vs. ATV Supercross for Xbox One later this year.
Going under the new name of MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore, the new game will feature enhanced visuals, a complete re-master of all audio, new gear, a higher frame rate, improved tutorials, and a bunch of new content.
Specific to the new version of the game are 12 Outdoor Nationals tracks and two open world environments which appeared in the previous game in the series - MX vs. ATV Alive - but which didn't appear in MX vs. ATV Supercross for Xbox 360. Also, a new "free ride" mode allowing you to explore the world by yourself or with your friends online is included, as is "Waypoint", which is a fan-favourite mode that will appear as a part of the new MX vs. ATV Alive environments for the first time.
Outside of that, expect to see more than 30 tracks, over 80 motocross companies, multiplayer for up to 12 players online, and two-player split screen.
MX vs. ATV Supercross Encore is expected to launch on Xbox One toward the end of the year.
