Pragmata is about to join the ranks as Capcom's second big release of 2026 following Resident Evil Requiem, and after some very good critic reviews, we're keen to see what the fans make of this one when it launches on Xbox this week.

Pragmata launches for Xbox Series X|S (and other platforms) on Friday, April 17th.

Pragmata launches at midnight local time on Xbox Series X|S consoles.

If you happen to be playing on PC via Steam, those times are different. In that case, we'll chuck Capcom's PC release time map down below as well:

Pragmata Download Size For Xbox Series X|S

Pragmata comes in at a modest 33GB download size on Xbox Series X|S. The game is available to preload digitally right now from the Xbox Store ahead of launch.

Is Pragmata On Xbox Game Pass Or Xbox Play Anywhere?

Pragmata is not scheduled to be available with any form of Xbox or PC Game Pass at launch.

The game is also not listed as Xbox Play Anywhere compatible, meaning you won't get a free Xbox PC version if you buy it for Xbox Series X|S. This could change in the future, but there are no signs of Play Anywhere support at launch.

What Is Pragmata From Capcom?

Pragmata is a new IP from Capcom, building on the strengths of its third-person expertise shown off in the likes of Monster Hunter and Resident Evil. The team takes us to a sci-fi world this time around though, and we'll throw a quick description of the game down below, alongside its newest trailer:

"Pragmata is a unique, sci-fi action-adventure game from Capcom. Follow Hugh, a member of an ill-fated investigation team, and Diana, a young android, as they navigate a lunar facility taken over by rogue AI in search of a way to Earth."
