“Kinect Joy Ride” reinvents driving and kart racing by adding massive jumps and full-body stunts to the classic kart racing action. With a host of cool features and game modes you can find your inner thrill seeker by going solo, pick up a co-pilot, or team up with your friends and family to take on the world.

“Kinect Joy Ride” takes the thrilling driving experience off the track and into your living room as you bend, twist and move your body to hug the curves, jump through obstacles and show off your acrobatic skills — when you get your whole body into it, you are the car!

  • No steering wheel or controller required. Feel the wind in your hair, show off your high-flying stunts and tricks, or blast and smash through a destruction arena. Lean to drift, and use your hands to fire rockets. Flip, twist or spin your car in the air with full-body motion and chain tricks together for even better scores.
  • Racing action meets friendly competition. When the road gets lonely, “Kinect Joy Ride” is the perfect collaborative experience for friends and family. With racing competition or cooperative play in the same living room, or head-to-head competitive play for up to eight players on Xbox LIVE,* getting into the game is now easier than ever. Whether playing alone or with friends, a handful of unique competitive modes keep the gameplay fresh, fun and challenging. Unlock new tracks, modes, cars and customization packages. If you’ve got what it takes, you can earn Achievements, Avatar rewards, in-game trophies and medallions, and even roaring fans. Share photos with friends of your most spectacular tricks in the Kinect Hub.
    o Race Mode: Unlock six different tracks in three enviornments, each with huge jumps and hidden shortcuts. In Battle Race you can hunt for seven unique items that give you the upper hand, like freeze blasts that bring all other players to a halt or speed mines that slow down unsuspecting cars.
    o Stunt Mode: Face off on a giant half-pipe where you collect points by getting more and more air, and pulling off incredible controller-free tricks with full-body movements.
    o Dash Mode: Speed down a straight track where you use your body to jump and dodge around obstacles. With each progressive boost you go faster and faster, approaching breakneck speed.
