I’m not very tech minded so bear with me, My son has an Xbox one s, he would like to have a 2 or 3 monitor set up, preferably where the one image is spread out not the same image on all the screens if that makes sense. Is this possible?

@Madbat50 I don't think it's impossible but it's not out of the box functionality for the Xbox one S. I'm not even sure if there is a consumer oriented device available that would allow the Xbox to do it.

I dont even think it would work if you could find the right device to do it because I don't think the Xbox supports resolutions that stretch wider than one monitor. Theoretically it could be split across 4 monitors (two at the top and two at the bottom) but I suspect that buying a monitor/TV of that size would probably be cheaper than buying a device that would allow that kind of input splitting

It's not like a PC that supports multiple displays out of the box. I've seen single output devices split across multiple displays in like shops and offices but it's not really a home thing.

It's probably not worth doing to be honest!

Thank you so much for the reply, and explanation. At least now I know it’s not a feasible thing to do. He loves his Xbox so I know he won’t want to change to anything else. Thanks again and have a good evening.
