Really loving this game right now... have hardly touched the missions... just wandering around taking down the odd compound and radio tower (to reveal more of the map). It's amazing how much of a time sink it can be - I just get lost on the island hunting animals to craft the higher end gear, maybe grabbing a buzzer and flying round collecting a few masks and stuff... or doing a spot of climbing/abseiling to get chests or reach a good spot to jump off and use my flying suit. Really is a fantastic playground for messing about.
There is only one fly in the ointment for me... that bloody irritating radio DJ. Anyone know if you can turn him off? He just repeats the same old rubbish every time I get in the car and it wore thin a long time ago...
I need to get 4! I dug what I played at E3 and (FC3 was one of my favorite games) but it felt a little too "samey" for me to go full hype. Still really need to play it.

Loving this too. I've spent around 20 hours and hardly started the campaign. Re the radio - press up on the d-pad. First thing I do when getting in a car

Has anyone tried loading FC4 with Xbox in offline mode? I was forced to yesterday as by fibre was down (but router was running). The loading screen took absolutely ages (and I mean 3-4 minutes not 10 seconds as usual). I had set my xb1 to offline and chose the 'offline' option on the FC4 start menu. I'd only played the day before (online) so the profile data would have been sync'd.

Cheers Chao5, must have tried every button but up... sick to death of hearing him say how hot Amita looks holding a gun etc. Maybe it's because I'm not doing the missions so the dialogue never changes but I swear there's only three different things he'll talk about and the music is just irritating. Anyway I'll shut him up tonight!
As for offline mode... that's what I select every time I play so I don't get random people just appearing in my game (don't know if that's what happens but whatever). I get the usual pause while the white bar crawls across the bottom of the screen - maybe 30 seconds - but that's it. Nothing like 4 minutes...
Do your FC4 achievements show your progress towards earning them by the way? Mine don't which is disappointing... so I've no way of telling how many more bad guys I need to BBQ before I get the Flame On! achievement etc...
I really should get into this. Got it sat here and I've played up until getting to the first pair of item shops, but haven't picked it up since. Was really enjoying it but just haven't had chance. This weekend, I reckon...

Weird. Maybe my XB1 needs a 'defrag' button LOL. I usually play online mode, but have never had any randoms. I think you can select if you want to join a co-op or request assistance. I just play alone - which is sad really as I could do with some firepower help on some missions!
Not checked the achievement tracking, but will look later. Wasn't it WatchDogs that had the same problem?

Cap, if you are on late or Saturday or Sunday during the day, I'm happy to give you a hand (I've finished bar a couple of coop missions so I'm rocking any firepower you need 😊😊😊)

You're not the only one. My buddy and I were trying to play online the other day and it took him FOREVER to load out of single player. He said it's happened to him a few times lately. Must be a weird server thing or an issue with the latest patch.
I've seen this and it's usually when you change modes (start a game offline from online or vice versa). I think it sets up differently and gets confused 😊

Cheers man. I'm not actually struggling (yet) but always good to have extra bullets flying. Not sure if I'll be on yet, but if I am, I'll shout.
