I have yet to dabble in Black Ops, shockingly. Same goes for New Vegas, Fable III, Halo Reach and pretty much any new game for 360 that doesn't involve Kinect. In fact, I think the most recent game I got for myself was Mass Effect 2, and even then I only played about two hours of it. Shame!
Currently I have Black Ops on the go for multiplayer having now battled through on Veteran mode in single player. Overall the game is great fun with some seriously frustrating moments in single player but no where near as hard as World at War. I stayed away from COD multiplayer for some time due to frustrations and I'm glad I took a break because I missed the multiplayer experience. I still don't think any Xbox game as produced a better multiplayer experience yet. There are better coop experiences but for full MP I still believe COD wins.
I am also starting Assassins Creed:Brotherhood. Stunning! As always the AC franchise doesn't fail to deliver. The single player is a good as always with the introduction of recruiting assassins to help you, rebuilding and liberating parts of the city giving you money to buy more weapons and more shops etc. The multiplayer is a good twist although I have only played twice - very steep learning curve. Essentially all player take on an appearance which matches other NPCs in the game mode. Then an assassination target is chosen and you follow your compass to carry out the kill whilst trying to maintain cover and not be assassinated by the other players.
Finally I'm playing Kinect Adventures as per my other forum post.
I have been playing Reach recently, although, I can't wait to get the new Assassin's Creed.
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
I am playing the almighty mess outta some Left 4 Dead 1. I've even got some coworkers sucked back into it. I've got 2 as well, but no one to play with. I have played the single player campaign and it is quite more robust (and more difficult) than L4D1. I can't even get passed the mall/car finale at the end of the first campaign.
Been playing a lot of Fable 3 recently. Finished up the main storyline, just a case of running around and finding all the collectables and secret stuff right now.
After 1000/1000'ing Fallout:New Vegas and Fable 3 back to back, I swore I was going to buy an 'easy' game to relax to. I didn't; I got Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Man, what fun it's been! Now concentrating on the Multiplayer achievements, grinding up to lvl 50....
Apart from Kinect titles, Im playing a fair bit of Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, Assassin's Creed 2 and Alone in the Dark. I'm persevering on Alone in the Dark, even though it controls woefully. The other titles Im really enjoying though.
I've FINALLY downloaded all of the DLC for the two Left 4 Dead games and am slowly working my way through them. I think this game deserves 100% achievements so I will start working towards that as well.
I just got CoD2 (yes, the second game) and it's pretty good. Beat the Russian campaign, then switched to a new gamertag. So now I have to do it all over again.
Looking forward to The Conduit 2 and CoD: Black Ops for DS For really cool avatars for a forum, go here! http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Callsigns/Emblems
43/50 Achievements in my First Playthrough is pretty damn impressive if I say so myself.
I went to Blockbuster before to rent a game & nothing interested me at all.I've either played them all, or I don't want to play them.I was hoping that they had Cars 2 in as that's supposed to be a good game & was thinking of renting Call of Juarez - The Cartel, but it's been getting a lot of 4/10 reviews so that's a big no no.
I'm probably going to be playing Fifa 11, Kinectimals & Ms.Splosion Man on and off until Rise of Nightmares & Gears of War 3 come out in September, as when there is a drought, I sometimes lose that motivation to play anything.
I know it's a bit of a late one, but I've recently bought LA Noire, waited until the hype went down along with the price been following a walkthrough though nearing the end, found a real good one if anybody is having a bit of trouble with it..
I'm really into Borderlands again at the moment, and am contemplating getting Bastion too but I have a huge -- and I mean huge! -- backlog to clear first. One day!
