If you're looking to discuss the GP title Wo Long, come on in! I've played a few hours of it and it's fun, but definitely tough. I actually put the game down for a few days and im trying to get back in.
Link for the game is below.

Sorry to drag you into the forums @Kaloudz, but I was hoping you could help. Regarding the number shown at the bottom of the screen, and over the enemies head, does that have much bearing? I see that you can level up character at the flags, but im just wondering which matters more in terms of defeating a boss. BTW, still stuck on the first boss 🤣.

Also, I noticed even when I parry his red attacks perfectly, and he's stunned, I don't do the thrust attack depleting a majority of his health. It only happens once in a blue moon.

@Kaloudz thanks again my dude. Very helpful info and now I'm not so intimidated. I know what I need to do tn. After a couple beers I'll head back in 😉

Oh, I love the idea of this thread. I was planning on doing it myself, but I was too lazy, haha.

I love how @Kaloudz it's pretty much a pro now. I think he's farther than me, too.

I would say the game isn't that hard to be honest. It isn't easy, but that first boss is one of the biggest obstacles for sure.
So far I've beaten all bosses with no help (except for AI-companions) and I'm not that good to be honest.
I think you'll have no problem once you defeat that guy.
And for future bosses you have the option to call for help from other players, so you can choose to do that too.

The only thing I would add is that the battle flags not only level up your morale, but if you die, the more battle flags you raised, the less morale you lose.
It's like a cap for how much morale you lose.
Other tip for after you beat that boss which might be obvious is to upgrade your equipment and be mindful of the total weight you carry. I found out the hard way that if you go over your limit you can't deflect at all!

Good luck!

Well, I just finished the game last night, guys. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I really liked it.
I felt like only one boss battle was unfair (no, not talking about the first boss).
Most of the bosses are difficult but nothing really exteme. I surprised myself at how many I defeated on my first try.
Now, the ones that are hard, are really hard. Like 10-15 retries hard.
I never used the reset option for the stats, but I feel that would have helped with some of the bosses. I mainly had problems with the ones that used the same element I did (wood/lightning) but maybe that was a coincidence.
You unlock an even harder difficulty after beating the final boss, but I'm not sure if I'm up for that, haha.
