Topic: All controllers lose connection

I have had all Xbox controllers lose connection. I’ll push the controller power button to turn it on and the controller light flashes once then nothing. Hold the controller power button down and the light just flashes. And this right after I charged it with a cable connected to the Xbox.

I have had this happen all the time on every controller. On Xbox series x. I’ve bought a new controller. Same issue. Xbox elite controller same thing. Two Xbox one series x controllers same thing. They all just stop working.

I’ll plug it in and it works ok. Unplug it and it works for a bit but every time eventually this happens.

What’s going on?

I've had the same problem. It happens occasionally. I'm guessing it's signal connection related. According to Google Gemini (So not 100% reliable).. An Xbox controller connects wirelessly to an Xbox console via the proprietary Xbox Wireless protocol. Other household signals, particularly other 2.4GHz devices, can interfere with an Xbox controller's wireless connection, though the Xbox Wireless protocol is designed to minimize this. A lot of devices on the 2.4GHz band can crowd the airwaves. To reduce interference, you can try moving routers, changing your Wi-Fi channel, or ensuring the controller is fully charged.

Thanks. But I don’t think anything helps. In that I don’t have any devices on 2.4. Nothing I can do for router placement. All of this seems not relevant but thanks.
