One of the biggest companies in existence and you can't even provide download speeds even half of what i can get on Steam.

Steam - 110mb/sec in seconds
Gamepass - 40-50mb/sec if i am lucky
And no i am not on WiFi and Steam is 99% consistent. Gamepass sometimes gets better speeds but that's my average on ethernet with a 1gbit connection.

Also thanks for trying to make it appear as if the new 007 game is included in Gamepass when it isn't.

I like Gamepass but sometimes it can be so bad. The xbox app desperately needs an update and for the love of god stop mixing in non gamepass paid games with games included with gamepass. Who designs this stuff?

Edit - Barely scraping 20mb/sec right now lol and it ain't on my end, i go on Steam and download something and it maxes out my internet speeds. Sad

Gamepass? Do you mean Xbox?
As for the 007 First Light, it is a stream your own game title and to do that you need to have a subscription to Game Pass. It is not part of the catalogue.

You joined the site 10 hrs ago just to complain about speed? You know this is not an official Xbox site. If you have having issues, go to MS support.

@Banjo- if he's talking about the PC version I have always had ultimate and the downloads are terrible on the series x starfield about an hour. on the PC I think it was going to take a. entire day and there are tons of posts on the internet about it.

@ZeD it's an old post but the PC game pass speeds are terrible. you can complain to Microsoft and get 0 help and a bunch of canned responses. just so a search for PC game pass download speeds there are tons of complaints.

I have a 1 Gbps connection too (Virgin Media in the UK) and I usually see speeds of 450-750 Mbps on Xbox via a wired connection. Sometimes it will briefly dip down to a ridiculously slow speed, but never for long.

TBH, if you're getting 110 Mbps from Steam, that's not exactly great with a 1 Gbps connection either.

It's hard to say what the issue is. If you do a test via the Edge browser on your Xbox at speedtest.net, what kinda speeds do you see there?
