Topic: Loaded.com (formerly CDKeys) warning

I have bought codes on this site before, but the last code I got for Game Pass had a region error despite the description matching my region. I contacted the seller, but no solution yet. I asked Microsoft and they explained to me that this website is not an authorised seller. I'm just letting you know what just happened to me.

@Banjo- Did you get it sorted out, mate? I've been using the site since I bought an Xbox nearly 4 years ago, I always thought they were highly regarded?

@Teclo Hi! Loaded.com told me that when Game Pass plans change, old codes might not work. I didn't get the money back but a credit voucher for spending on the website. After contacting Microsoft, I have a few doubts about these websites, being officially categorised as "unauthorised sellers". However, the cards and codes sold in typical video game stores and websites are authorised by Microsoft and appear on their website. I just wonder what are the reasons.

@Banjo- oh at least they re-credited you. I can honestly say, I know this is anecdotal, but I've spent a lot of money on CD Keys in the last 4 years and never had a problem. I recently bought a year of GP Essential actually and worked perfectly. It's always great to browse the games section too, some excellent prices occasionally, for example I bought Dark Souls for about a fiver a while back.

@Teclo Yep, this is the first time I had an issue. I'm glad you have been scoring such great deals. I usually buy games on the Xbox store and buy Game Pass codes elsewhere if I find a good deal.

thank you for the warning: really appreciated.
I used Loaded mainly for Steam, although in the past a friend of mine gifted me a Gift Card Code for Xbox.
it didn't work, but I decided to do not open a ticket, because I didn't want to hurdle and embarrass this friend of mine.

@Pigrotto No problem. You could open a ticket. Your friend would not know. The website's support would communicate with you and tell you what's wrong.

I’ve used what I mentioned for YEARS now and legit tell people all the time and everyone just always tells me thanks later on
The thing is sometimes it’s not much of a steal nor sale….but just make an account or sign up for the emails and I promise you’ll start getting codes from them for % discounts off on all games and/digital gift cards: I’ve gotten brand new games for sometimes $10-$20 cheaper than anywhere else and things like gaming cards for much less than what it’s filled with
