Topic: xbox play anywhere

I am interested in starting a discussion about xbox play anywhere and the effort or lack there of that microsoft is putting forth into the program, I am hoping to get this topic big enough to get noticed by microsoft and bring their attention to the communities feelings and view and hopefully address the issue.

hi all I am trying to bring to the attention of microsoft the fact that their efforts are sorely lacking and if they want other companies to make an effort they need to fully commit to bringing their entire catalog of games with a pc port to play anywhere. they are trying to pressure other companies into joining this program with their past present and future games that have pc ports, but very few of the 1st party games are in the program other than new games and games in development. I know they have licensing issues to overcome and that they have a game preservation team but that team is only working on getting the licensing issues resolved for the console games to be streamed through x-cloud, they are not working toward play anywhere. this leaves the fact that to play the games they are working on you have to pay $20 a month to play games you own anywhere but on your console. I love xbox and like the direction they are taking with merging pc and console but eventually they are going to leave console behind and we shouldn't have to buy 1st party games a second time because they refuse to put in the effort. bottom line is if microsoft do their job and get their 1st party games on play anywhere the 3rd parties are going to come on board, most of them anyway. at least that would be the right way of doing it unlike how they got square-enix to start putting theirs on play anywhere with extortion and threats.
