It's the weekend once again! Some of us have crossed border lines and will be continuing with Gran Turismo 7 this weekend. However, some of last week's Game Pass additions are also looking fantastic, so there's plenty to play on Xbox! Here's what we're up to.

As Fraser took a well-earned break last week, I'll probably be chilling out a lot this weekend! What better way to relax than with Gran Turismo 7, where I'm slowly building my car collection and listening to jazzy menu tunes. That café menu won't fill out itself!
On the Xbox side of things, I'm probably going to dig into the new Halo Infinite event. Despite complaints about the lack of content, I'm really enjoying these bite-sized multiplayer events, which provide a nice little battle pass to work through. If I get time I may also look at Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition, which just got added to Xbox Game Pass.

I'm diving back into Elden Ring again this weekend. I'm not great at FromSoftware titles, but I'm rather enjoying the exploration this one includes. It's got to be one of the best open-world games I've ever played! Instead of having to tackle bosses all the time, I can go off, look around elsewhere and eventually get attacked by something that's even more dangerous...
Apart from this, I'll be diving back into Halo Infinite this weekend. The focus over the next few days will be unlocking every item in the new limited-time 'Tactical Ops' event.

It's still gonna be mostly Elden Ring with me this weekend, but I'll also been jumping out of The Lands Between to indulge in a little retro action over on Switch with F-Zero X, one of my all-time favourite games.
I've also just got my hands on a copy of WWE 2K22 so I'll be booting that one up for the first time and seeing how good the character creation suite is before setting out on what's sure to be a glorious career in the squared circle.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus - this has to be the best Pokemon game I've ever played! I'm on the third area now and I'm just loving it!
The Binding of Isaac: Repentance - still trying to cross off some of the challenges, some of them are really hard lol

Continuing tokyo mirage sessions #FE encore on the switch and after a few years of wanting to play it I finally started playing folklore on the ps3.
Also a bit of muse dash on the switch here and there
No XSX or ps5 this weekend.
On Xbox started playing Gardeners of the Galaxy (you will get the reference if you have played heh). Have been surprised by the polish and how well written the story is. It certainly seem worth the time to play it through at least once.
On PlayStation doing daily races in Gran Turismo 7. The single player part of the game is ok as far as it goes, which honestly isn't far. You soon get to a point that you are going to be grinding credits in the same few races to be able to buy the cars you want which gets old. The daily race in sport mode have been a mixed bag in terms of performance but at least racing real folks makes for more fun races.
I'm playing Grid (2019) on Game Pass, along with Brilliant Diamond on switch (which I got in a super sale)

guardians of the galaxy and nothing else. kinda obsessed with how good this game is.
@lolwhatno I recently got back into Apex as a secondary game. I’m used to playing it as my primary game but I generally don’t care about the cosmetics so I haven’t bought the battle pass.
I’m playing a bit of Apex Legends and Halo Infinite. The tactical event was a right slog. The weekly too. I’m glad that’s over. 343 never designed these weeklies and events to be fun and rewarding did they?
I’m also helping my wife out on Stardew Valley a little bit.
As usual, Horizon Forbidden West on my PS5. If I have time, I'll also give the demo for Final Fantasy Origin a try on my PS5.
Mahjong by Microsoft (Android) - Closing in on my final gold medal needed for the achievement.
Dragon Mania Legends (Windows Phone) - Still plodding along with this.
Ridiculous Marathon (Windows Phone) - I think I'm nearly done with this now.
@lolwhatno I enjoy playing Fuse and Rampart. I used to enjoy Mirage but I was one of the weirdos who enjoyed him with his original skill set.
I used to play Rocket League too! I almost always buy the battle pass and get sucked into daily and weekly challenges. Right now I only do that with Halo Infinite.
I'm playing Mario Golf Super Rush..
Still finishing up Dark Souls 2 - on the final DLC now. When that's done I'll make a start on Horizon Forbidden West, and after that will finally start Elden Ring. So many damn games!
@lolwhatno I actually reinstalled Rocket League recently. Played two games and uninstalled it. Just couldn’t get on with it again.
I had rocket league when it first was out on PS+ donkeys years ago. I still play with my Takumi car I got back then. I’m rubbish at it but I used to enjoy it.
Fuse’s alt is pants but his tactical is great at breaching the doors or getting people out of cover. I’ll be honest I hadn’t played since season 9 so Rampart feels a bit different now. Can’t get used to the portable ult.
@PapaGlitch of the two Crowns dlc you’ve completed so far, which is more to your liking?
Just Elden Ring. Made it to Astel Naturalborn of The Void last night.
70 hours in, play through 1, nowhere near ready for this to end yet.
Elden Ring, and maybe a little bit of seasonal stuff in Forza Horizon 5.
@Dusk_Actual I'm unsure of the names - I've finished the iron king one and the ones that ends with the slumbering dragon, and much prefer the latter (the run to the blue smelter is just painful). On the frozen one now, beat Aava last night
@lolwhatno I get ya. I liked it. I think the ramp up time was shorter. I rarely had anyone use the thing on me.
Rampart is a really great character. I love the walls she makes. She has some great lines much like Fusey.
I only really play when my stepson is looking for a duos partner. Happy gaming too!
On PS5 GT7 and Days Gone. GT7 is going to be being played for the foreseeable future. And on XBOneX I’m working my way through Gears of War 3 again. Such a great game!
