Metal Eden at £3.99 thank you very much
Lots of really good games on that list, most of which most of us will be well aware of, however, as it is a lesser known title, special shout-out goes to Metal Eden. I really enjoyed my time with the game. Well worth the money.
Also, Dragon Age: Veilguard is far better than the haters would have you believe, and again is good value at this current price...
I was just typing my comment when I saw yours pop up, @McKeownPlayz. If you have not played Metal Eden and do intend on buying it, you will have a great time with it. I thought it excellent...
@Fiendish-Beaver Ye I played the demo and really enjoyed it but work and gaming life balance as you know, just never got round to buying it or something else catchs the eye.
But ye right on the Xbox app and purchased at that price.
I'll probably bite for Metal Eden, System Shock, the Blasphemous bundle and Zero Escape . Shame only one of these is Play Anywhere. .
Former Pure Xbox staffer Dan Hollis had some really great things to say about Kaze and the Wild Masks back in the day FYI:

@McKeownPlayz likewise!
Cool, @McKeownPlayz & @HelloCraigo, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did...
Most of these games people have probably already bought if they had any interest as they've been out a while. But if you like 2 person co-op then I would recommend A Way Out and Split Fiction. Both are mandatory co-op and pretty easy.
A Way Out is a great game if you have someone who really isn't good at games or just getting started. It is very forgiving and seems designed for a couple where one is a gamer and one isn't. The story is pretty good and overall it isn't frustrating.
Split Fiction is a step up in platforming difficulty and some sections can be frustrating for a non-gamer but otherwise isn't terribly hard. The combat sections are more involved but there aren't a lot of them. A Way Out is the game I'd start with and then move on to Split Fiction next.
That Werewolf game (I forget its name) was £2.50. I know it's npt meant to be good but I thought give it a go at that price.
@Fiendish-Beaver I didn't like veilgaurd maybe I didn't play long enough but it felt souless it just didn't grab me they way the other 3 did. I could care less about the drama around it as I'm a big dragon age fan maybe I should give it a second go
I enjoyed it for what it was, @VisitingComet1. I didn't think it as good as the earlier games, that is true, but it is nowhere near as bad as people would have you believe. It's a 7 or 8 out of 10, which people (not suggesting you) seem to think is a bad score, which it clearly isn't. Even on Metacritic it has a score of 82. It did feel a little linear at times, and there is no build variety, but it is an enjoyable romp...
@Fiendish-Beaver ya 7 or 8 is a good score. I think I felt I was being pushed down narrow corridors. which in its defence 1 and 2 had some pretty narrow corridors. I'll try it again. I remember all the hooplah about this subject or that subject I really don't care about that stuff. while I'm deeply religious most of all those kind of things can be ignored in games I just want to have fun.
also my wife who is a church worker sacrificed just about everybody she could to the temple of skorm in the fable games which was pretty hilarious.
@VisitingComet1 On my side, though, I didn’t have to ignore them.
I embraced them.
Dragon Age The Veilguard was a bit repetitive but great… and gorgeous. It’s often much cheaper physically though and comes with two discs containing all the playable data… that you actually own
I'm not a religious person, @VisitingComet1, so all of that goes over my head in games. However, I am a retired Cop, and yet I happily roam around in games and steal everything in sight! Games are about escapism, and although I can never play a game in an evil way (I'm always a good Shepherd in Mass Effect for example), I still kill everyone on the map in a game like Assassin's Creed! I tell myself that it is easier to roam around when the enemies are not present, meaning I don't have to sneak everywhere, but the truth is it is fun to find a way of sneaking about and picking off the enemies one at a time without getting spotted. In games I am a homicidal maniac, but not so much in real life... 😂
