Tomb Raider DLC Coming to 360 First

Posted by Ken Barnes

Caves and cliffs, oh my!

Square Enix has announced that they'll be bringing the first Tomb Raider multiplayer pack to Xbox 360 before any other format.

The expansion - entitled the Caves & Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack - adds three new maps (Scavenger Caverns, Cliff Shantytown, and The Burning Village) to all four of the game's multiplayer modes - Rescue, Cry fo Help, Team Deathmatch, and Free for All. There's no word on how long the expansion will remain an Xbox 360 exclusive, but the pack will be available from March 19th, for 400 MSP.

We reviewed Tomb Raider earlier on today and found it to be quite spiffing. What do you think?

When they announced exclusive 360 content at E3 I was hoping it meant some single player stuff but had a feeling it'd be multiplayer instead. Can't say I'm a real big fan of that aspect of the game so I'll wait on these until I hear from others if it's worth the 400 MSP.
