Watch Dogs A Shoe-In For Durango?

PS4 Showing and Wii U Confirmation Improves Chances

Unless you're living under a rock, you'll already know that at last night's 2-hour-long PlayStation Meeting in New York, Sony released some more concrete details on the PlayStation 4, including details of some of the games you'll be able to play on the device when it debuts toward the end of the year.

One title that generated much "ooh"-ing and "aah"-ing, was Ubisoft's Watch Dogs. The game, which ironically enough plays on the fact that most people are in some way hackable - via their mobile phones and other things - looks like a substantial piece of work. We saw it back at E3, and assumed that next-gen was the target, despite a lack of any real information.

This morning, Ubisoft have confirmed that as well as being a launch title for PS4, Watch Dogs will also be released for Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. This further adds weight to the speculation that the game will likely be released for Microsoft's console during the Durango launch window.

I'd eat my hat if it didn't. And video myself doing it, and put it on the site as a feature.

This would be one of the few times I might be willing to make a bet. I mean, the game is coming to the Wii U, I can't imagine the next Xbox being left out.
