Eventful days ahead?

The super sleuths over at NeoGAF have turned up details of an interesting domain registration yesterday, by a company that works closely with Microsoft's web properties team.

U.S. Techs currently hosts a couple of sites for Microsoft, and was responsible for setting up and hosting their E3 2012 press registration site, as well as the site for Microsoft's 2013 Hosting Summit in Seattle in May.

Last night, the company registered XBOXEVENT.COM for a single year, as proven by a screengrab we've just taken from a WhoIs search.

We're relatively sure that this domain will be used, and used soon. We couldn't possibly speculate as to what will take place at the event, but....sorry, even we can't keep a straight face there.
