DON'T NOD's Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden flew under the radar when it launched on Xbox back in February, but when we did get around to playing it, we really enjoyed our time with this spooky investigative adventure. Three months on, and now anyone can try the game out as the team has added a free trial to all versions of the 2024 title.
Yep, a new free trial has been added to the Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden store page on Xbox, and here's what the team has to say about this free introduction to the game for console and PC players:
"Discover DON’T NOD’s most ambitious title now with its free demo playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam. Play the first mission of the game, and get to know Antea and Red’s story as ghost hunters sent to lift the curse of New Eden.
The demo save files can be transferred to the full game, allowing players to carry their progress over."
As it turns out, we weren't the only ones surprised and delighted by this recent third-person adventure. Xbox fans have been loving Banishers since it first launched, and it seemed to go down pretty well with critics around release back in February.
