During Nacon Connect 2024 yesterday, the company formally unveiled Terminator: Survivors, a new open-world survival game based on the famous film franchise. The team has locked in a PC Early Access launch date, with console versions arriving later on, including Xbox.

That Steam Early Access release lands on October 24th, and from then, PC players will be able to "take control of a group of survivors of Judgment Day, in solo or co-op mode". Here's a bit more on this upcoming Terminator title:

"Terminator: Survivors is an open-world survival game set in the world of the famous sci-fi franchise Terminator, created by James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd in 1984.

In this original story taking place after the first two films, you take control of a group of survivors of Judgment Day, in solo or co-op mode, faced with a multitude of lethal hazards in this post-apocalyptic world. But you’re not alone. Skynet’s machines will hound you relentlessly and rival human factions will fight for the same resources you desperately need."

This Terminator survival project was first teased way back in 2022, although at that stage it was untitled and still very much in the early stages of development. Things seem to be progressing nicely though, and we'd expect this one to hit Xbox sometime in 2025 following its initial PC launch in October.
