Call of Duty has had some pretty big crossovers in its time, but this upcoming effort is one of the franchise's most exciting yet. To put it simply - The Walking Dead is officially coming to Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 during Season 2 in February.
Now, the exact form this crossover will take is still up in the air at the time of writing, but we do know a couple of major details. Characters Rick and Michonne will be arriving as Operators next season ā with Rick featuring in the above artwork ā and the team has begun teasing some sort of Zombies crossover as well.
That last bit makes a lot of sense - MW3's Zombies mode is much more 'open world' than previous releases and the mode's map feels tailor-made for some sort of TWD crossover. We'll have to see what the team has in store there.
Warzone players will also be able to get a taste of this crossover as well ā at least in the form of these Rick & Michonne Operators ā and the whole thing kicks off during Season 2, which starts February 7th. Expect to see more The Walking Dead teasers between now and the next Season's start date.
