Well, this isn't a crossover we ever expected to see but it's here nonetheless! Xbox has announced that it's partnering with the European Space Agency to allow Starfield fans to design their own real-life spacesuit. Yep, for real.
Starfield fanatics are being invited to "provide both a visual illustration of the suit from all sides — hand-drawn, 3D-rendered, or however their vision sees fit — as well as a description of the inspiration of the suit". Then, Xbox and the ESA will choose the winning suit and put it into production for the winner to enjoy - which will take roughly two months.
Now, it must be said that isn't a real spacesuit - you can't expect this thing to actually protect you in Outer Space. It's a costume of sorts, but it sounds like quite an elaborate and expensive one at that!
"The winner of the spacesuit design contest will have their spacesuit fabricated and sent to them. They will also receive an Xbox Series X, along with Starfield Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller and Headset."
