Let the party begin!

Here we go! It's time to kick off the 2023 season of summer showcases with the Summer Game Fest 2023 event, which is expected to deliver major announcements for lots of upcoming games - many of which will launch on Xbox.

"The show will feature the world gameplay premiere of MORTAL KOMBAT 1 with Ed Boon, as well as a look at the gameplay of ALAN WAKE 2 with Sam Lake from Remedy, plus more game news and announcements including the world premiere of #FortniteWilds the new season of Fortnite launching Friday."

The Summer Game Fest 2023 showcase is set to begin at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 8pm BST, and we're probably looking at an event that will last around two hours altogether. Settle in, and let's hope for a fantastic night of reveals!

that was it?! and I'm not too bothered about FF7R2, I kinda bounced off the first one in the end

weird that it's PS5 only given it definitely looks doable on PS4 - guess maybe the world will be more open

cinematics look great but they did in the last one too

FF7R2 doesn't look that much better than R1 did on the PS4... I mean it was a pretty game already but I expected more

almost get the feeling Immortals was what Forspoken was meant to be - not sure it'll stick the landing but looks worth a try
