Yes, we've got a new Transformers game on the way! Gears Tactics developer Splash Damage is currently hard at work on Transformers: Reactivate, which will take the form of an online action game for 1-4 players.
You can check out the official trailer above, along with some details below.
The gravest threat to humanity has arrived. And it’s already won. Earth is no longer ours; it belongs to them. Fight back against the Legion in TRANSFORMERS: REACTIVATE, the new 1-4 player online action game from Splash Damage.
Looking forward to this? Tell us down in the comments below.

Ehh idk about the this one yet.
Closest thing resembling Transformers in this were the blaster noises, the rest was more like The Asylum's rip-offs movies like Hornet & Transmorphers. '1-4 player online action game' doesn't help. I'll hold off until we eventually see more, but after Battlegrounds I think most Transformers fans just want the Highmoon games back. War for Cybertron & Fall of Cybertron are hands down the best Transformers games, and it's sad that not only are the servers canned but the games are delisted too.
@shoeses yes the cybertron games were best. This game looks like Pacific rim, and the trailer already has too many humans
@GunValkyrian Either this was a very poorly thought out tease, or I'm thinking you'll be playing as human soldiers during the Transformers' war on Earth. Which an idea like that could work, but right now that's not what people are looking for, especially after how bad Battlegrounds was and how many good games died with Activision losing the license.
@shoeses I'll keep my eye on it but right now I don't know what to think of it. The last good TF game was Devastation in 2015, the cyber verse xcom game was trash so idk...I just hope it turns out good cause I don't want to wait another decade for a good TF game. I'd be happy to have both cybertron games remastered
OK I feel a bit better after seeing leaked cutscene from the game.
