Bandai Namco and Amazon Games have announced today that the free MMORPG Blue Protocol will be coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S in the second half of 2023, as revealed at The Game Awards 2022.

Oh wow wasn't expecting this on xbox. Been waiting for this game for ages. Was expecting PC tho.
Will it be crossplatform play?
Can't wait for this game as it looks fantastic & hopefully if it does well so we get more like Final Fantasy 14.
@cragis0001 I appreciate the optimism, but if SE was interested in porting to Xbox it would've happened by now. I played for a few years and I would love to see it ported, but I also just don't see it happening.

@Auglicious until recently I'd have agreed with you. But after SquareEnix announced the need to focus on the international market as the Japanese one just can't sustain them like it used to. Anything is possible!!!. Specially if Blue Protocol is a success or Sega, Capcom & Namco Bandai recent push of popular franchises on Xbox is a success.
