If you're a fan of Halo and loved the second entry in the series, you might be interested in the new official mod tool documentation for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, a Halo release Microsoft continues to support to this day.

The company shared the doc on its official website earlier today, and as highlighted by Halo modder and Twitter user 'Kashiiera', certain files uploaded include some "never before seen images" from the Bungie era of Halo.

Some of the screenshots below show off reflective surfaces and debugging, but most importantly, these screenshots have never been shared publicly, until now!

Of course, the images themselves aren't of the highest quality - they were only intended to be used for internal development purposes! Still, it's cool to see something new on Halo 2, however it comes.

While these might not seem like all that much, for Halo fans and the series' modding community, the images share another insight into the history of this legendary franchise, and could potentially even open new creative doors for the community.

What do you think to these new Halo 2 screens? Pretty cool huh? Let us know your thoughts down below.
