Bethesda has revealed its plans for Fallout's 25th anniversary, and they include some pretty neat bonuses for Xbox fans! Besides a free play week for Fallout 76, we're also getting a dynamic Xbox Series X|S background and a nice bonus Game Pass perk to celebrate the series' anniversary.
First up, the dynamic background is very Fallout 3-esque, containing the iconic Brotherhood Power Armor featured on the game's cover art.
The Xbox Game Pass perk has some good value as well, as Bethesda is giving away one free month of Fallout 1st membership; Fallout 76's premium subscription that enables private worlds, stash upgrades, in-game currency drops and more. The free Fallout 1st month is available today through October 24th, so you've got plenty of time to scoop that one up before it leaves the service!
If this isn't enough Fallout for you, you might want to check out Xbox's weekly sales offerings, where a bunch of Fallout content is discounted as part of a Fallout franchise sale. That includes some backwards compatible offers as well!

Still waiting for the unannounced crossplay/progression between xbox and pc.

What's the point when it's going to be covered by the new garbage iteration of the dashboard they'll be dropping?
Dynmaic backgrounds is one of my fave things on my PS4. I would love to have more on my Series S, esp Xbox first party and also big 3rd party games.
Hey Xbox, thanks for the new theme. but what really needs your full focus and attention now. could you please! do something about the advertisement mess covering up the dashboard? it's just well, it would be great if we could see our awesome! dynamic backgrounds
