Xbox's Phil Spencer Reveals What To Expect At Tokyo Game Show 2022

It's a big week for events and reveals (it's pretty much like another E3 to be honest!) and coming up on Thursday, September 15th is Xbox's event at the Tokyo Game Show 2022, with Phil Spencer revealing what to expect earlier today.

The Microsoft Gaming CEO says the stream "will celebrate the vibrant players and visionary creators across the region", with plans to show upcoming first-party and third-party games that he hopes will "delight" players around the world.

Here's his full statement, as revealed in a video on Twitter earlier today:

"It's an honor for Xbox to be back at the Tokyo Game Show this year and celebrate with our fans tuning in from Japan, across Asia and around the world. Japan is a creative powerhouse that has brought to life iconic characters and franchises played by millions of people worldwide."

"The Xbox stream at Tokyo Game Show 2022 will celebrate the vibrant players and visionary creators across the region. You'll see some upcoming Microsoft first-party and third-party games that I hope will delight players here in Japan and across the world."

"We're excited for what the future holds as we continue our mission to bring the joy and community of gaming to everyone on the planet."

As usual, we'll be hosting Xbox's stream at the Tokyo Game Show 2022 here at Pure Xbox on Thursday, so you won't miss a thing if you want to watch it live, and we'll also recap all the important announcements following the event.

Keep in mind that if you do want to watch it live, it's an early start for many regions, with the show taking place at 2am PT / 5am ET / 10am BST - and lasting for around 50 minutes.
