If you're a close follower of the Xbox team, you'll be well aware of Aaron Greenberg. He's a really nice guy who is always busy promoting the latest game and hardware.
It seems he's recently been promoted - with his LinkedIn profile revealing how he's gone from Xbox Games Marketing General Manager to Xbox Games Marketing Vice President. He was in the general manager role for 8 years and 4 months, and has started in his new role this month.
Aaron responded to messages from his friends and fans on social media. Here's exactly what he had to say:
"Much appreciated, very kind to see all the notes. Iβm so grateful for the work I get to be part of in service to Team Xbox and our fans. Excited for the future ahead too!"
On behalf of the team and community here at Pure Xbox, congratulations Mr. Greenberg!

Congrats. He's a nice chap. Major Nelson I'm not so keen on... but this dude here, he's a good'n.
@Kaloudz Agree on Greenberg.
Also agree on major Nelson. Listening to his podcast for years and years now. There were numerous times he was straight up rude to Jeff, guests, etc. Left me thinking that he is dbag and that smiling persona he puts on is incredibly fake.
@GuyinPA75 Isn't he just? Not sure many here would agree, but, he just grinds on me. I got sick of seeing his constantly satisfied mug on my dashboard on a weekly basis over on the X1. That, and a lot of his PR just felt forced...
Like when Francis comically slated the X1 launch and then there he was, a few weeks later in a Francis video, being overly cringe. I'm sure he is liked by many, but for me, he's just not my cup of tea lol.
Edit: The picture of this article is awful lol. Makes Phil look like some sort of sexual wraith.
@Kaloudz lmfao hadn't noticed that.
I think nelson's recaps feel a bit forced
@Cherip-the-Ripper Don't they? Glad it's not just me that sees it haha!!
@Kaloudz I think mainly because I refuse to believe he could possible be positive about the utter ***** we're getting with gmg each month. It's been mentioned in the comments a few times by others as well
@Cherip-the-Ripper Yeah he's definitely one of those guys that are overly optimistic and overly celebrative, that's for sure lol.
I'd say Nelson doesn't know much about games. I realised watching a Sea of Thieves interview. I wouldn't say rude but when he doesn't know, he just makes anything up, or tries to improvise a different view, so he's not natural nor believable. He reminds me of a mediocre TV host.
