Sam Barlow's Immortality Suffers Slight Xbox Game Pass Delay

We've got some unfortunate news to share for fans of Sam Barlow's games (Her Story, Telling Lies), as the upcoming Xbox Game Pass release Immortality has been slightly delayed from its intended July 26th launch date.

Instead, it'll now release on August 30th, with the team explaining that the game needs more polish:

That means it now sits alongside the likes of Turbo Golf Racing, Two Point Campus and Midnight Fight Express as the first confirmed Xbox Game Pass additions for August, so it should at least be a pretty great month for the service.

As for the game itself, Immortality is described as an "interactive film trilogy", where your goal is to explore footage from the lost movies of Marissa Marcel, and use those videos to discover what happened to her.

You can check out the description along with a trailer below:

Marissa Marcel was a film star. She made three movies. But none of the movies was ever released. And Marissa Marcel disappeared. An interactive trilogy from Sam Barlow, creator of Her Story.
