It's been announced today that the long-awaited sequel to Dragon's Dogma is officially on the way in the form of Dragon's Dogma 2, and it's currently in development. No platforms or release dates have been revealed as of yet.
In fact, we've got very little to go on right now, aside from the following blurb (thanks Gematsu):
"As Itsuno finished looking back at the origins of Dragon’s Dogma, he gave fans the first look at what lies ahead for the series with the surprise reveal of Dragon’s Dogma II. Itsuno and the Dragon’s Dogma II development team including Dragon’s Dogma veterans Daigo Ikeno and Kenichi Suzuki are hard at work creating the sequel, and are excited to share more details in the future."
As and when we get more details on Dragon's Dogma 2, we'll bring them to you here at Pure Xbox.

I'd put money on it coming out after Elder Scrolls 6.
This entire thing screams "we have only just now been greenlit".

@Kaloudz I got $10 from Xbox randomly last week, and I bought Dragons Dogma for $4.99, it is pretty rad. You get to fight against so gnarl enemies and a big variety. My only con is that I think I went down the wrong path somewhere and am getting enemies that are too hard... I just have to look up some stuff, bcause it is a very big game. I would say it is a for sure buy at this price, and knowing it will have a sequeal someday, ou should check it out
Absolutely loved the first one - hopefully can recapture and build on that - too many sequels have wound up being a bit rubbish.

It is kinda one of those games that you have to put in a few good hour untill the game starts getting its groove. But for sure a fun game
