EA Motive has announced a developer livestream for its upcoming Dead Space remake.

The "Crafting the Tension" livestream was announced yesterday on the official Dead Space Twitter account and will, according to the official press release;

"Offer a deep dive into various aspects of the upcoming game's art design."

As well as chatting about design and art aspects of the game, it seems as though we'll also get some insight into just how the power of current gen consoles such as the Xbox Series X/S will be used to visually evolve the environments, lighting and characters beyond that found in the incredibly atmospheric original.

The livestream event will be available to watch at 6pm BST/7PM CET on EA Motive's official Twitch, as well as on the Dead Space YouTube channel.

This is the 3rd livestream event for the game since it was announced last year, with the other two focusing on audio and gameplay systems - you can still catch both of these at the official Dead Space YouTube channel - and we're looking forward to gleaning a little more info into what's sure to be one of the highlights of the first quarter of 2023, if it manages to hit its release target.

Looking forward to jumping back into the sweaty boots of Isaac Clarke when Dead Space reboots early next year? Let us know in the comments!
