2018's Mutant Football League is still one of the best arcade sports games on Xbox to this day, and it's officially getting a sequel for Xbox Series X and S (along with Xbox One), as highlighted by IGN earlier this morning.
Mutant Football League 2 will feature more mutants, game modes, a better franchise mode, weather changes during gameplay, an eighth player on the field, increased visuals, custom teams and online multiplayer. Phew!
There's no release date for this one yet, as apparently "due to the ongoing invasion of Russia, Digital Dreams is unable to pinpoint" a timeframe for launch — the developer is largely based in Kyiv, Ukraine. We'll keep an eye on it!

I have been hearing about this for awhile now and can't wait. I put so many hours on the original and definitely looking forward to this.
The original has been a cracking reboot of the old Mega Drive Mutant League Football, so can’t wait for the sequel.
