Xbox Reveals Custom Sonic The Hedgehog Series S Bundle

Xbox has announced some new customized hardware, themed around Sega's famous mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog. Not only is there an Xbox Series S here — with a custom Sonic design — there are also two rather... different Xbox controllers.

The two controllers, based on Sonic and Knuckles, aren't exactly a standard design style. Instead, they're both covered in faux fur and to be honest, we can't tell if these would be comfiest controllers ever or the worst pads on the planet...

This is another 'winnable' custom console, i.e. you can't buy the thing. To enter, you'll have to head over to Twitter and follow the Xbox account and retweet Xbox's official sweepstakes post with the hashtag #XboxSonic2Sweepstakes to be in with a chance. If you're in the US, you can also enter using Microsoft Reward points.

There are two bundles going for those who turn out to be the lucky winners. One includes the console and a pair of the furry controllers, while the other package is just for two controllers.

If you're after something Sonic that's easier to obtain, Xbox is also adding some more Sonic-themed items to its Sonic the Hedgehog Minecraft DLC, including six new skins and a brand new challenge.
