Over the past week we've seen a lot of Elden Ring (review coming shortly), but nothing as weird as this. To celebrate the game's launch, Bandai Namco Southeast Asia released a live action trailer showing an actual family fighting over an actual 'elden ring'.
The clip, which is almost four minutes long, features a multi-generational family who all want in on the Elden Ring adventure. When the ring shatters — in real life that is — it's time to visit The Lands Between and seek the shards of the Elden Ring.
This is one of the most downright bizarre game trailers we've seen recently, but we kind of dig it. Even for a game as hardcore as this, Elden Ring doesn't take itself too seriously.

By Japanese standards that commercial isn't even all that strange. Anyone who thinks it is hasn't seen the Crash Bandicoot one yet.
