Many of us are eagerly awaiting Forza Horizon 5's first expansion already, and it looks like it might be on the way fairly soon, as Microsoft Store insider Aggiornamenti Lumia has stated the game's first DLC is in testing right now.
It's reportedly known as "WOODSTOCK_DLC_FLIGHT", being tested via the Xbox Insider Hub:
That's basically all we know about it so far, with more details hopefully set to be revealed in the near future. Like Forza Horizon 4, the fifth entry in the series is scheduled to receive two major post-launch expansions this year.
If you're playing the game via Xbox Game Pass, don't forget that you can get access to a special "Expansions Bundle" or "Premium Add-Ons Bundle" in order to benefit from the game's DLC at a discount price.

I got bored with FH5 pretty quickly, so am hoping this first expansion will lure me back in.

Yep, I've been a little underwhelmed by FH5 (I loved FH4).
Still playing a few hours a week but definitely need more to do, hope we don't have to wait too long for info!
I'll probably do what I did with FH4 and buy the expansion pass after everything has been released, and the price comes down.
I enjoyed FH5 while I played it but there wasn't really anything to keep me coming back to it.
Not even the multiplayer saved it or kept me interested long term. Its missing so many options on how you set up a race or just plain forces you to something you may not want. For a game that in part sold itself on race your way that is just bad.
I will look at the dlc as I have already paid for it with my initial purchase but I hope it's offers more than just a scenery change or new locations.
I still prefer FH5 over FH4 by a long shot. Still think FH3 was the best. But sorry UKers, the environment of FH4 was boring as hell to me.
I've gone back to FH4, FH5 just never felt right.
Well, we had Hot Wheels and Lego expansions... maybe it's time for Micro Machines?
