Elden Ring is almost here, and to celebrate, the developer has just shared the game's launch trailer. As expected, the trailer contains some stunningly varied landscapes from within FromSoftware's latest world, along with showcasing the studio's signature monster design.
It's all here then, and this trailer further builds the hype on the road to launch. We're intrigued to see where Elden Ring takes us, especially in its new open world format, as we suspect there'll be a lot more to this world beyond what we've seen so far.
What we have seen so far is very promising though, and it seems other critics agree. A recent final preview roundup shows just how impressed folks are with Elden Ring's open world, which definitely sets it apart from other Souls titles.

Never really played a Souls game, but Elden Ring looks super appealing to me. The world looks so varied and interesting. It reminds me of Breath of the wild in the best way. Easy day one purchase for me.
@FoodForSammy I can see the appeal. The world doesn’t look as dark fantasy (bordering on horror) as other souls games.

Such a good and terrifying launch trailer just be aware theres alot revealed in that trailer but i knew some stuff already this trailer just make my 72 hours of wait unbearable 😆
