There's apparently been some speculation about a new event coming to Halo Infinite multiplayer today. 343's senior community manager John Juyszek has jumped in on social media to set expectations.
Here's what Juyszek had to say in response to a question about a Tactical Operations event:
"We've seen some speculation around the timing of future events, so jumping in to set expectations. There are no plans for an in-game event tomorrow. When an event is on the way, we'll be sure to let you know in advance"

Those leaked rewards are likely to change too. That set seems outdated. I’ve seen another set without the filler and way more cosmetics.
What is Tactical Operations? Does it differ from tactical slayer?
@robe it’s likely (we don’t know exactly until it’s confirmed) to be an event centred around Tactical Slayer and variations thereof. Like in previous Halo that used weapons other than BRs.
So this would be how Cyber Showdown featured Escalation and Tenrai featured Fiesta.
@ParsnipHero I thought that might be the case, I enjoy tactical slayer so a bit of variation could be nice
