New Armored Core Screenshots Revealed Via FromSoftware Survey

Elden Ring is almost, almost here, but what if we said details surrounding FromSoftware's next project have begun to surface? Well, according to a forum post by ResetEra user Red Liquorice, the Dark Souls developer may be set to return to Armored Core.

The user claims to have recently taken part in a consumer survey surrounding a new Armored Core game. The survey contained descriptions of the game's setting, world and combat, along with screenshots and gameplay clips.

I've just finished doing a consumer survey about a new Armoured Core game with description, screenshots and two 30 second-ish videos of gameplay - the first a boss fight and the second more in-world gameplay, a snow area.

The game's descriptions, included in the post, sound pretty damn exciting. One point goes over the game's backdrop, a "sci-fi world created by Hidetaka Miyazaki: FromSoftware's unique and deep Sci-Fi worldview and multi-layered story. Set on the planet Bashtar, a sci-fi world devastated by a planet-wide disaster".

The descriptions then go into more detail surrounding the map, combat and customization, all of which sound rather interesting indeed. Since sharing this info, the user has also posted watermarked screenshots, which are now doing the rounds on social media.

Due to the watermarks, the images aren't exactly clear. What they do show though, is something that certainly looks like Armored Core, and it's getting us pretty excited from what comes after Elden Ring.
