We're now incredibly just a week away from the release of GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, and starting today you can pre-install the full version of GTA: San Andreas from that package with Xbox Game Pass.
The file size is clocking in at almost 22GB on Xbox Series X, and you can see evidence of this below:
It's not just San Andreas that is getting the treatment today, so if you've already pre-ordered the full trilogy, you'll be able to pre-install GTA 3 and GTA Vice City as well. Those are reportedly 5GB and 10GB downloads respectively.
All we've seen so far of The Trilogy is a short trailer, so let's hope more footage arrives over the next few days.

@HungryHungryHomer I wish it was 3 so we could play them in order as they rotate through GP, but alas I do not make these decisions.
I'll buy the trilogy later down the line so I don't have to deal with the rotation.

San Andreas is the best get for game pass. It's the most polished game of the trilogy. RPG elements, gang wars, and a great soundtrack. I loved Vice City but it really didn't hold up in last gens remake. I barely made it past the RC missions.
@Royalblues In a nutshell, you go to the Microsoft Rewards app on Xbox, head to the 'Redeem' section, and get whatever you want from there.

Very tempted to buy the trilogy for some awesome nostalgia....feel it should be at the £30 or £40 mark though
@StylesT just buy it from the Icelandic Xbox store, it’s only about £36 on there for the trilogy
A great addition to Game Pass but I was always going to buy the trilogy even if III and Vice City was also coming to GP as you just know it’ll be on the service for no more than 3 months going by past Rockstar games.
I’m pre-ordering the trilogy tomorrow and using my Microsoft Rewards points, £15 worth, towards it so I’ll be paying £40 for it which is a great price for what we’re getting IMO.

@Chaudy nope just need to add an Iceland address into you’re address book then use the Icelandic Xbox store on your phone/laptop. Takes 5 mins, once done you just download and play as normal

Do we know what times the game will be accessible in the different regions yet???
@MaccaMUFC Three months is way more than enough time to finish San Andreas on gamepass. I would reconsider based on what my experience is, if I will still continue to buy the full Trilogy even though SA is free on gamepass, time will tell.
