Mojang Is Reportedly Working On Two Brand-New Minecraft Games

Minecraft is a global phenomenon, continuing with spin-off entries such as Minecraft Dungeons. That success seems to be something the team at Mojang wants to continue expanding, as "two all-new projects" are reportedly in the works.

The information is from Windows Central, which claims reliable sources have alerted them of two projects in the works. It comes after the studio has consistently been releasing beautiful pixel art related to Minecraft, which we'd love to see made a reality.

"One thing I know for sure: There is more Minecraft coming. I know from trusted sources that Mojang has at least two all-new projects that aren't Minecraft or Minecraft Dungeons, although I have no idea exactly what those games might look like. Perhaps we'll discover that all of those pixel-style art posts were in fact teases for full-blown projects ... or maybe not. One can hope, though."

Minecraft has dabbled in a few genres so far, with an emphasis on action in Minecraft Dungeons and a more story-driven focus with Minecraft: Story Mode by Telltale Games.

We're not sure whether these pixel art posts are related to another upcoming title, but we'd like to think so. The teams are still continuing to deliver content to Minecraft, whilst also wrapping up with Minecraft Dungeons, so perhaps we'll hear something next year.
