Diablo 2 is getting a new lease of life in a whole new remaster - launching for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on September 23.

Not only is Diablo 2 Resurrected coming to Xbox, but Xbox Series X|S owners can see results of up to 4K resolution at 60FPS on the next-gen hardware. All of the iconic gameplay remains the same, with support of up to 8 players in co-op - complete with the game’s expansion, Lord of Destruction.

Diablo II: Resurrected is the definitive remastering of Diablo II and its Lord of Destruction expansion—two hallmark entries in Blizzard Entertainment’s genre-defining action role-playing series. Veteran players, as well as those who missed out when the original game was first released on PC twenty years ago, can now experience Diablo II’s timeless gameplay with modern visuals and audio that take advantage of today’s gaming hardware.

Be sure to pre-order via the Microsoft Store if you want get early beta access to the game. It’ll be great to see this classic game given a new coat of paint on Xbox. It’ll also help bridge the painfully long gap to Diablo IV a tiny little bit… maybe.
