Well, we didn't have this in our predictions. Sea of Thieves is getting a fully fledged Pirates of the Caribbean crossover complete with the fan-favourite character Jack Sparrow. It's also not that far away, setting sail on June 22 as a free update.
Known as A Pirate's Life, the new update will include a unique story set across five Tall Tales, side-quests, and new items. It looks pretty spectacular, fully making use of the license with some explosive set pieces and wonderfully voiced cutscenes.
Split across five incredible Tall Tales packed with secrets and side-quests, Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life sees Captain Jack Sparrow sailing in from beyond the horizon to sweep players into an epic new adventure!
Free Jack from his prison and witness the power of the world’s greatest Pirate Treasure, which he just so happens to have stolen, before joining him on an unforgettable quest to stop dark forces from dominating this pirate paradise.

Sea of Thieves, a game that has become wonderful but yet I still wonder where are Banjo-Kazooie and Viva Piñata. Well, they're making Perfect Dark and they made Battletoads so I guess there is still hope.
@BlueOcean Then maybe you should try playing other games to bind the time instead the same ones?
@ALK Why do you think I don't?
Great. One if not the best announcement of this year‘s E3.
I'm a sucker for anything Pirates of the Caribbean, so definitely have to play Sea of Thieves now finally.
I’m assuming it’s still 100% multiplayer oriented, right? My hopes for a “single player story mode” are just useless, right?
