A sequel to the under the radar hit A Plague Tale: Innocence is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S next year. Oh, and it's launching day one into Xbox Game Pass.
A Plague Tale: Requiem follows the events of the first game with Amicia and her brother Hugo as they take "on a perilous new quest, doing whatever it takes to survive a brutal, uncaring world". Details are very slim, but it seems to be leaning into more of its supernatural elements. We just hope it doesn't take away from what made the first game so great - the relationship between the two central characters.
Embark on an emotional and breathtaking journey. Follow Amicia and her brother Hugo on a perilous new quest, doing whatever it takes to survive a brutal, uncaring world.

My problem is that I have a phobia of mice and rats. I played the first game that looks great but gameplay is pretty basic like The Last of Us, I don't know if I'll play the sequel.
I loved the first one and am super excited to see a sequel is coming. Looks incredible!
loved the first one played like the last of us will definitely play the sequel
Is it coming to Xbox One? Initial announcement said only Series X and PC.
@Xenomorph_79
Agreed. Asobo to MS is basically like Insomniac to Sony.
@trev666
Ikr? I put off playing this game for so long and was not expecting it to be as good as it was.
@Xenomorph_79 Exactly. I'm actually somewhat disappointed they haven't already. I was hoping it would be announced during the show, and obviously announcing A Plague Tale 2 as an Xbox exclusive would have give you the hint before they announced it right after the trailer.
Still, at the end of the day this was one of the best surprises of the whole show. Not knocking the show, as it was good, but some of the stuff had leaked and this definitely did not.
I loved the first. This day one on Gamepass was the star of the show for me.
@HungryHungryHomer Next-gen only release, will not be coming to XB1 at this time. That can always change in the future though.
@KidBoruto
Someone needs to change the article then.
I still need to play the first one. I keep eyeing it when it's on sale.
