Overcooked fans rejoice! The definitive version has jumped from next-gen consoles to last-gen consoles, as Overcooked! All You Can Eat has arrived on Xbox One today with cross-play for $40/€40/£30.
Acting as a full remake to both games, it delivers every single level, seven new kitchens, three new chefs, a new assist mode, all post-launch content, and the ability to run at 4K resolution with 60FPS on compatible systems. Oh, and the Swedish Chef from The Muppets is also available to download for free up until April 30.
"- Every mouthful: Includes every piece of Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2 content, remastered and available in 60 frames per second (30fps on Switch) in up to 4K resolution.
- Multiple multiplayer courses: Levels originally from Overcooked! are playable with online multiplayer support for the very first time, with every Overcooked! All You Can Eat kitchen also featuring cross-play functionality.
- Exclusive new kitchens & cooks: New levels, new chefs, and additional skins for every single chef – all exclusive to Overcooked! All You Can Eat.
- Trophy/Achievements: Brand new trophy and achievement sets for players to unlock
- Cooking for all: Accessibility options and a new assist mode opens the game to more players than ever before."
For next-gen users, the game has been available for some time on Xbox Series X|S, but at least now if you have any friends who are yet to make the jump or are on a different platform, there's no reason not to team up anymore. Just keep things friendly in the kitchen.
