Xbox Live's Major Nelson wrapped up the latest episode of his Xbox podcast yesterday, and as part of it, he teased that next week's episode (taking place on Friday, March 12th), will feature some "special things."
Major Nelson - real name Larry Hryb - mentioned this towards the end of the show:
"We've got some guests next week, we've got some cool stuff, we've got some special things. I don't want to say them because I don't want to spoil them, nor do I want to say anything until they're, as we say in the biz, 'in the can', but I've got a lot of stuff planned so stay tuned for that."
Hyrb, who is a director of programming for Xbox Live, didn't tease any further details, although many have speculated his comments could be to do with Microsoft's acquisition of ZeniMax Media, which is nearing completion.
It could be something completely different though, such as a new batch of FPS Boost titles for Xbox Series X and S, so we'll just have to wait and see what Major Nelson and the Xbox team has in store for us next week. Stay tuned!

Ooooooooooh
Given March Game Pass wave 1 ended March 4th instead of the usual half way through the month, I think next week will have a bunch of Bethesda games announced and added to Game Pass. Maybe Fallout 4 coincides with FPS Boost as that was the title the feature was originally shown off with?
Let’s hope the hype matches the delivery.
Bethesda guest announcing Starfield will be exclusive
I'm expecting them to have Todd Howard and Pete Hines back on again like when the deal was first announced for Bethesda.
Probably Jason Ronald as well to announce more FPS boost titles, including Fallout 4, probably hitting Game Pass as well same date.
@Grumblevolcano that and I think more FPS boost games.
Yes, Looking forward to this one.
Perhaps we will get an announcement for Hades coming to Xbox and the Game Pass? I'd love that.
@FraserG Erm... it's actually Larry Hryb, not Hyrb.
I'll see my grammer Nazi-self out now, thank you.
@ThanosReXXX erm, is that being a spelling-nazi, rather than a grammar one?!
I’ll see my pedant nazi-self out as well...!
@MarkD01 Ah, darn. You're right. Must have had more drinks than I thought this weekend...
@ThanosReXXX You're right! That's what rushing things on a weekend does for you!
