We don’t consider ourselves detectives here at Pure Xbox, but this latest statement from Crytek certainly has our senses tingling that an Xbox Series X patch for Crysis Remastered might be on the way.
While announcing a hotfix had gone live to address issues surrounding the game’s motion blur, a further tweet also revealed that some “amazing additions” are coming soon to Xbox (and PlayStation).
We don’t know about you, but this is sounding like something is coming our way in regards to next-gen consoles. It could be something entirely different, but let's hope an enhancement is on the cards!
What do you think? Is a next-gen patch on its way? Let us know in the comments below.

The PC recently had that 'flying' mission added back - maybe that's also on the agenda...
Hmm. At this point every time Crysis is released for a new platform it just feels like it's another opportunity to see this badly optimised game run badly, regardless of what hardware you put in front of it. The whole "but can it run Crysis" thing is almost always answered with a no, at least not properly, thanks to how that game has been engineered. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong!
Rumor has it MS is in talks to acquire sega AND konami
@PhhhCough Is that actually true? 😳
What should this be called? A remaster of a remaster?
@PhhhCough MS buying SEGA has been going on for a while now.
I doubt they'll buy anything new just fresh off of the Bethesda deal.
And if MGS becomes an Xbox exclusive .. I don't know what to say. But titles like MGS and SH should be PS exclusive, if not multi-plat.
