It's another next-gen upgrade! Playstack has revealed that Mortal Shell is getting an Enhanced Edition for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S next week on March 4th, and it'll be free for all Xbox One owners of the game.
Few details have been revealed at the time of writing, aside from that the Enhanced Edition will allow you to "experience the superior way to play, with uncompromised 60fps gameplay, 4K resolution, and ultra high-quality textures."
Note: The Xbox Series S version will run at 4K and 30fps.
If you've never heard of it, Mortal Shell is a soulslike action RPG that launched in August of 2020, developed by Cold Symmetry. It scored pretty good reviews at launch, so this is definitely a nice upgrade!

Only 30fps on Series S? Well that's a deal breaker
@FraserG Superhot: Mind Control Delete got upgraded stealthily yesterday, as well. I wondered why it had disappeared from Xbox One games in my library yesterday evening, then noticed it has made itself at home in the Optimised for Series X|S games.

Odd they wouldn’t make it 1080/1440p 60 like the consoles was designed for. I doubt most people buying the S got it for 4K.
It's odd and dumb if they choose 4K30 instead of 1080p60/1440p60 for Series S. Pretty sure most people who bought Series S prefer the latter, though why not provide the additional 1080p60/1440p60 mode as to not make this relatively simple issue complicated
What about the Warframe upgrade ? That's one title I would like to play, it's already improved for PS5 since launch, so...
@Trainer the other one is Touryst, running at 4K60. Seems like there is one more but quick google search can't find me anything
@Trainer there is a list going around the web, which you can find. These games are 4k or close to 4k from my memory.
Ori is 4k60fps or 1080p120fps.
Falconer - 1800p60fps
The Touryst - 4k60fps
Outriders - 4k60fps
