There's Reportedly A New Knights Of The Old Republic In The Works

Star Wars fans have been waiting years for the Knights of the Old Republic series to finally return, and according to a couple of reports and rumours, it looks like Lucasfilm Games has at least something in the works.

One latest report comes from Bespin Bulletin (thanks VGC), which claims that they've "heard there is a Knights of the Old Republic project in development somewhere,” although no further details have been shared for now.

However, they have highlighted that Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier previously hinted the project isn't being developed by BioWare, and apparently "we'll never guess" which studio is actually working on it.

“Amongst my digging, I heard there is a Knights of the Old Republic project in development somewhere. I talked to a couple of people, and I also found out that Jason Schreier said that it’s not with EA, and we’ll ‘never guess’ who the studio is that’s making this game.”

Cinellix also says it's heard from a couple of independent sources that a KOTOR project is in the works, but it's not 100% known whether it's a remake of the original game from 2003 or some kind of sequel.

Aside from KOTOR, Bespin Bulletin also says a bounty hunter game is in development by possibly EA or Ubisoft, and "there's another unannounced game at EA" which doesn't appear to be Star Wars Battlefront 3.
